When a canine cries, who answers the call? When Spot becomes a stray, who will be its savior? Whenever a dog is desperate, then the fine folks at the LA/SPCA rush in to rescue the situation.
The Louisiana Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is an independent organization, not associated with the national SPCA or any other organization and thus is independently funded by generous people like yourself. And because of the loyal volunteers and the cash from caring community remembers, they have been able to continue to fight the good fight. Since the LA/SPCA was chartered in 1888, their mission has always been simple: help animals out. From finding homes for neglected dogs on the streets, to micro chipping and providing medical treatment, the LA/SPCA has done quite a bit to help our furry friends. Kicker, Drew, Dozer and the other guys at the DamnDog HQ had seen the LA/SPCA doing their thing and decided to partner with them. In addition to helping generate awareness for the LA/SPCA and donating DamnDog prizes for LA/SPCA fund raising events, DamnDog proudly gives a percentage of all sales to the LA/SPCA. So, whether you buy one of our Haversacks, Rucksacks or even just one of our ridiculous soft shirts for yourself, you can feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that you just helped to save a dog.
