HELLO Fest Season!
Here in the swampy-city that is New Orleans, when the mellow winters finally subside, suddenly spring shows up leading the already lively locals to kick it up a notch even further. With spring comes the heat, the crawfish, and the festivals. In New Orleans, people give a damn about celebrating as often as possible. And pretty much anything is a legitimate excuse to have a party…So New Orleans’s fest season is filled with events focused on celebrating everything from oysters, jazz, and Creole Tomatoes, to the awesomeness of Greek culture. It important to enjoy all the little things in life, and New Orleans's population has successfully managed to do just that.
The Freret Street Fest kicks off the fest season by taking over an entire Uptown street and turning it into an avenue lined with vendors and anchored by a couple of music-pumping stages. DamnDog participated in full force this year…and made sure everyone knew damn well about our attendance!
So if you were too busy with mowing the front lawn or living in another state, then this is what you missed out on at this year's DamnDog booth at the Freret Fest:
